Stage Manager
The stage manager is in charge of the show. They ensure the cast and crew are ready to go on time. They will perform set changes, backstage costume-changes and perform a few minor on-stage roles during the performances. They will be responsible for fixing anything that goes wrong during the show. They will be responsible for washing the costumes as necessary (usually every 2 days), and ensuring that all the props, set, costumes etc are all ready to go for each show. They will need to attend a run during the rehearsal period (which will be before the start date listed below), and assist with production week and pack out. There will be days when they have the highest authority, so they need to be able to represent the company in front of the patrons, and solve any problems, either Front-of-House or backstage.
Punctual, responsible, ability to perform a few minor on-stage roles, have stage management experience, ability to problem solve quickly.
