Job description:

We are in need of a lighting operator for a children's show - Snake and Lizard - that we are touring around Auckland in July and October. We have done this show in the past, so the cues are already plotted. We have a professional DVD of the show for you to learn off before the first venue. We need someone who is an experienced and trained rigger and operator. As it is a tour we have extremely short pack in and out times at each venue, so we are in need of someone who can work quickly, but also professionally and safely. Dates are:

Selwyn College Theatre, St Heliers

Pack in Monday 5 - Tuesday 6 June

Shows 10.30am and 1pm Wednesday 7 - Saturday 10 June

TelstraClear Pacific, Manukau

Pack in Sunday 11 and Monday 12 June

Show 7pm Monday 12 June

Shows 10.30 and 1pm Tuesday 13 - Wednesday 14 June

Venue TBC

Pack in Friday 1 October

Shows 10am, 1pm and 4pm Saturday 2 October

Hawkins Theatre, Papakura

Pack in Monday 4 October

Shows 10.30am and 1pm Tuesday 5 - Saturday 9 October

Mangere Arts Centre

Pack in Monday 11 and Tuesday 12 October

Shows 10.30am and 1pm Tuesday 12 - Saturday 16 October

The show also has a live musician and 4 microphones for the actors, however we are hoping the venue technicians at each venue can operate sound. Hopefully not, but you may be needed to multi op.
