*Please note in our previous audition call for this role, the position was for a commitment for July and October. We are now only looking for an actor for the July dates only.

 

We are looking for one male professional actor for this adaptation of Snake and Lizard by New Zealand author Joy Cowley.

 

Tour kindly supported by Creative New Zealand and North Shore City ARST funding.

 

We would love to audition actors who have experience with, and enjoy, performing to children. The actors who audition will also need to prepare a song.

 

We are touring this successful show from last year around Auckland in July. Please find details below.

 

We are auditioning on FRIDAY 28th May at The Auckland Performing Arts Centre (TAPAC) for:

 

Male Actor  20 – 45

Various roles – including Skunk and puppeteer.

 

Please also prepare a song for the audition.

 

Rehearsals:

Mon 28 June               10am – 5pm

Tues 29 June                             “

Wed 30 June                            “

Thurs 1 July                               “

Fri 2 July                                   “

                       

Tours: All shows 10.30am and 1pm unless specified. Call time 9.30am.

 

Selwyn College Theatre, St Heliers:

Tech/Dress: Monday 5 – Tuesday 6 July           9am – 5pm

Shows: Wednesday 7 – Friday 9 July                10.30am & 1pm daily

 

 

Telstra Clear Events Centre, Manukau:

Tech/Dress: Sunday 11 – Monday 12 July        9am – 6pm

Shows: Monday 12 July                                   6.30pm (call time 5.30pm),

Tuesday 13 – Wednesday 14 July                     10.30am & 1pm daily

 

Fees:

$750 per week /  or for parts of week $111 a day.
