Audition Notice
The Secret of Dongting Lake
(A story from ancient China)
East Asian actors are required for a theatre for young audiences production to be staged in the Concert Chamber, Auckland Town Hall during October.
We are looking for 8 East Asian (inclusive of all ethnic Chinese) male and female actors between 20 and 55 to bring to life this mythical tale of mysterious creatures, enchanting princesses and adventures on the high seas.
From a script by renowned playwright Michealanne Forster and to be directed by the award - winning Ben Crowder; presented by THE EDGE in collaboration with The Oryza Foundation for Asian Performing Arts.
Fee and rehearsal period to be discussed.
Auditions will be held at The Edge over the 11th and 12th of July.
