Ticketing and Sales Representative
Auckland Theatre Company is looking for a confident and skilled person to join their busy box office team. Our Ticketing and Sales Representatives provide front-line sales and ticketing services to customers of Auckland Theatre Company. The position requires a high level of customer service, an excellent telephone manner, thorough product knowledge and a strong sales motivation.
The successful candidate will need to: • Deliver timely and accurate ticketing services to all external and internal customers • Provide the Finance Officer with accurate reports to ensure that each day’s banking reconciliation balances • Assist in the compilation and updating of specialty ticketing databases
• Tele-market specific productions and sales promotions to Auckland Theatre Company databases and other lists as requested.
• Build strong customer relations and a high level of customer knowledge, thereby generating repeat business and increased ticket sales. Hours
• The position is part-time with a minimum of 20 hours and maximum of 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 9am, from March through to November.
• During the annual subscription processing period (December through to February) the position may require up to 40hours per week.
• There will also, very occasionally, be evening work required both in the office and at theatre venues. A high level of professionalism is required in this role. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with sales and customer service is preferred.
