ATC Technical Manager
TECHNICAL MANAGER
Auckland Theatre Company is seeking a fulltime Technical Manager to join its busy Production Department. The purpose of the position is to manage technical resources and personnel to deliver a high standard of production and technical delivery for ATC productions.
Specific responsibilities include scheduling and managing pack-ins/ outs, rostering crew, sourcing equipment, implementation of technical plans and designs, workplace safety and servicing daily technical requirements of productions in performance.
A high level of technical knowledge and experience is required in order to provide technical leadership, expertise and practical advice.
Auckland Theatre Company is one of New Zealand’s leading theatre companies, staging a mainbill programme of seven to eight productions and several tours each year. The Company works across a range of theatres and in 2011 will present productions at the Maidment Theatre, the Auckland Town Hall Concert Chamber, Q Theatre and The Civic.
