ATC Ticketing and Sales Representative
Auckland Theatre Company is one of New Zealand’s leading theatre companies, engaging over 250 actors, creative personnel and technical staff each year.
We are looking for a confident and skilled team player to join our busy box office.
Our Ticketing and Sales Representative provides front-line ticketing and sales services to the customers of Auckland Theatre Company.
The position requires excellent interpersonal skills and good written and oral communication skills, along with computer literacy, thorough product knowledge and a strong sales motivation.
The successful candidate will need to:
• Deliver timely and accurate ticketing services to all external and internal customers
• Build strong customer relationships and a high level of customer knowledge, thereby generating repeat business and increased ticket sales.
• Provide the Finance Officer with accurate reports of each day’s banking reconciliations
• Tele-market specific productions and sales promotions to Auckland Theatre Company databases and other lists as requested.
• Assist in the compilation and updating of specialty ticketing databases
A thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with sales and customer service is required. Past experience working with ticketing systems and databases would be an advantage.
Our ideal applicant would be passionate about theatre and have a solid understanding of the industry and its players.
The position is full-time. Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. (Very occasionally evening/weekend work may be required both in the office and at theatre venues).
