ATC Marketing Assistant
Auckland Theatre Company is one of New Zealand’s leading theatre companies, engaging over 250 actors, creative personnel and technical staff each year.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate marketer with a flare for event promotion to join the Marketing & Communications team.
The Marketing & Communications team generates strong market presence and positive brand regard for Auckland Theatre Company in order to maximize attendance at events and build loyalty to the company.
The position requires excellent interpersonal skills and good written and oral communication skills, along with computer literacy, thorough product knowledge and a exceptionally strong retail promotions ability.
Specific responsibilities include print management, copy writing, media buying, direct mail, creation of collateral and database management, as well as facilitating opportunities to build new audiences, enrich theatre going experience for existing audiences, and foster participation in ATC activities.
Our ideal applicant would be passionate about theatre and have a solid understanding of the industry and its players, and be driven to have a career in arts management and administration.
Position is full-time. Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. (Very occasionally evening/weekend work may be required both in the office and at theatre venues).
