Operations and Events Manager

Reporting to Carla our Director, you will be responsible for four key areas of our operations:

The management of all production activities through your team of technical staff to ensure an outstanding level of service to all our incoming companies;

Working closely with our Hospitality Manager, you’ll be leading revenue generation through the promotion of Q for hire for all sorts of things imaginable. Supporting you to do this will be your fantastic front of house team.

Because you will be responsible for the security, welfare and safety of all incoming parties you will be leading Q’s Health and Safety policies and procedures and ensuring they are implemented and maintained.

Finally, looking after our new asset ‘the building’ is a key priority for Q. You’ll play an important role in ensuring facilities maintenance is attended to.

So what are we looking for?

You will have strong operations experience and understand the complexities of running productions in an arts venue.

Ideally you will have event management experience and be skilled in generating additional revenues through these activities.

A working knowledge of occupational health & safety legislation and leadership experience is a must.

This is a permanent full time role, however you will need to be flexible because evening and weekend work may be required.
