Looking for Actor for Sci Fi Musical Comedy
The Fannywaterman Collective is looking for a male or female actor to take on the role of "Robot" in the science fiction musical comedy "The Black Hole Menagerie".
We are an Auckland based group who is taking the show on the road down to Wellington for the Fringe festival at the end of February. The production week is 23rd Feb to 1st March in Wellington. We will be rehearsing in Auckland for four weeks, which would involve two evenings per week and a day on the weekend. In terms on singing, the robot does have one song they sing but it is in character so if your worried about singing don't be.

Scarlett Lashes awakes to find herself incarcerated in a cocoon of space travel 27,000 light years way from Earth. Confused and disconcerted she discovers her only companion is a T2500 android as they careen towards a super-massive black hole on a mission of no return.
Scarlett soon becomes bored with T2500, and when the vodka runs out she begins recounting her sexual odyssey, ditching earthly love and embracing the space fervour. Yet as Scarlett's odyssey progresses T2500 android becomes jittery and anxious, concealing the real reason why they are on the mission.
