We are looking for six professional actors for this funny and magical show.

We would love to audition actors who have experience with, and enjoy, performing to children. All roles require a strong comic ability.

Note for the role of Badjelly we are happy to audition both men and women for this role.

We are presenting this season The PumpHouse Theatre, Takapuna, in late September/early October.

We are auditioning on THURSDAY 22 and FRIDAY 23 JULY for these roles:

 Actor 1 (Young adult male actor)

Tim – boy aged 6

 Actor 2 (Young adult female actor)

Rose – girl aged 5 

 Actor 3 (Female)

Various roles – Mummy / Binklebonk / Badjelly

Actor 4 (Male)

Various roles – Daddy / Shark / Badjelly

Actor 5 (Male)

Various – Narrartor / Mud-wiggle / Dulboot

Actor 6 (Male)

Various roles - Pom Pom / Apple Tree / Jim the Eagle

Rehearsals:

Monday 16  - Friday 20 August             10am – 5pm daily

Monday 23 – Friday 27 August 10am – 5pm daily

Mon 30 August – Friday 3 September             10am – 5pm daily

Production Week:

Mon 6 Sept                Rehearsals      10am – 5pm

Tues 7 Sept                   Rehearsals      10am – 5pm

Wed 8 Sept                Lighting Plot            9.30am – 5pm

Thurs 9 Sept                Tech                9.30am – 5pm

Fri 10 Sept                   Dress                9.30am – 5pm

 Performances:

 School Shows Season: (10.30 and 1.00pm daily, 9.30am call)

Mon 13 – Fri 17 September

Mon 20 – Fri 24 Sept

Gala Opening (4pm, 3pm call)

Saturday 25 Sept  

 Public Season: (all shows 10.30am and 1.00pm daily, 9.30 call)

Monday 27 Sept – Saturday 2 October

Monday 4 – Saturday 10 October

 Fees:

Rehearsal Fee - $450 per week

Performance Fee - $50 per show
