The opening of Q will be a fantastic celebration for the Auckland performing arts industry and showcase what has become of this amazing building.

The creative team for the event are Mike Mizrahi and Marie Adams from Inside Out Productions, who specialize in sophisticated, visual and high impact events. Working with Ian Hughes and Mark Clare as the casting directors, Lighting Designer David Eversfield and Costume Designer Tracey Collins, this collaboration will deliver an impressive evening, celebrating the creativity and potential of this landmark building.

We are currently looking for volunteers to help us deliver this incredible event. If you're able to help us with the following, please get in touch!

- Stage Managers

- Production Assistants & Runners

- Lighting and Sound Technicians

Q is a performing arts venue at 305 Queen Street, right in the heart of Auckland City. This mid-sized flexible performance space, next door to the Town Hall, is a spirited and vibrant creative hub, showcasing the best of New Zealand theatre, dance music and comedy.
We also have a great cafe and bar, open from early til late, serving Supreme coffee, boutique beers and wines and killer cocktails alongside a delicious small plate menu.
