Cello Player for Theatre Production
I'm a producer/actor working on a play about a russian musician. I'm searching for a talented and keen cello player to help us create the mood and style we are going for.
We have a theremin player that will be improvising in some scenes and the cello would be an added bonus. The play has great potential and we want to have lots of fun with it. This opportunity would suit someone who is keen to try new things, also someone who enjoys films (swe are a doing a "50's B-Grade Horror/Noir Film" Play).
Key dates are:
Rehearsal times will depend on availability, but the bulk of it would be in the first 3 weeks of november, with times and dates TBC and agreed with everyone. As many as possible.
PERFORMANCE DATES: Nov 21 to 26 at The Basement Theatre (Auckland).
If you are available to some rehearsals and definitely for performance dates, please contact me and let me know. I'm not trying to create an opera or an epic score - I want someone who knows how to play well and can have fun making music and, most importantly, collaborating with other artists.
If you are not available for the above performance dates, thank you for your interest but no need to email me.
