 Workshop | Language in space | 15&16 May 2010

 …with Award winning American director, Adrian Blue & playwright, Catherine Rush

This workshop is the first in a series bringing Deaf and hearing actors together.

Day 1:  Will be taught without linguistic communication. Exercises and improvisation will focus on becoming aware of how we communicate non-verbally and expanding the ideas of how to communicate using the whole body.

Day 2:  Will focus on intertwining sound and gesture to make a whole. Words and signs as well as techniques of Visual Vernacular will be introduced and explored.

Participants are required to be a minimum of 18 years of age and preference is given to professionl or training actors/directors and Deaf community members.
