Dinosaur Puppeteer
We need males between 5ft 7 and 5ft 11, with a shoe size smaller than 11, to operate our male Dinosaur puppet Basil for holiday programmes at Auckland Museum.
We also need a female between 5ft 1 and 5ft 5 to operate Delaurus, Basil's prehistoric partner.
This role is for 6 evenings in July, but there will be ongoing work for summer and beyond.
Applicants need to be fit and healthy and unconcerned with spending time in a cramped outfit.
Performers do not necessarily need to have a background in puppetry but movement experience will help.
Actors please apply as the Museum is always looking for versatile people to expand its family of performers.
Auditions will be week of 21 June.
Rate is $50 p/h
