SYNOPSIS OF "THE SLEEPER"

The Twin Towers have fallen.  A sheltered suburban housewife, deeply worried by the new security threats, both imagined and real, finds herself drawn to her son’s tutor, a young and handsome man with politics very different from her own.  Her life, as she knows it, is about to change forever.  It’s comic, sexy, fast and black.

Written by Catherine Butterfield. The Sleeper received the 2004 Kaufman and Hart prize for Best American Comedy.

ACCENT

All roles are American.  Actors will be required to use the American Standard accent.  Dialogue coaching will be available to the chosen cast if required, so just do your best at the audition.
