Theatre In Education Actor Required
Kids 4 Drama is seeking an actor to take on the role of "Tane" in the "Tina and Tane" show. This theatre in education show tours North Shore Primary Schools in November and December 2009. The show promotes issues around storm water and water safety.
A character of Tane is a fun quirky and somewhat cheeky character who has the mission of getting new pollution detectives to join his team. Tane is a singing role with Tina.
The suitable applicant will be someone who can commit to a series of rehearsals in October and November mainly on Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons and then commit to the tour season mid November to mid December. The actor will be working with one other female actress already cast and four teenage students from our drama school.
The successful applicant will hold a full NZ drivers license. Own car a bonus!
Kids 4 Drama uses the Tina and Tane brand on contract to the North Shore City Council.
Tour is throughout North Shore City however daily start and rehearsals at Blockhouse Bay.

Our classes offer regular performance opportunities so that students can put the skills learnt into practice. Currently classes operate in : Auckland,(West, Central West and North
Shore) Wellington, Wairarapa, New Plymouth. We are currently seeking new tutors in other parts of New Zealand and hope to expand this list shortly.
