Senior High School Student Visual Arts Tutor
The visual arts tutor will run a weekly session and work with competent senior high school students from a variety of Auckland schools, to guide them with their school work, and/or assist them with preparing a portfolio for entry into architecture, fine arts or similar Universitiy courses.
Moving from student to student, or sometimes communicating with more than one student at a time as appropriate, the tutor will provide ideas, knowledge, expertise and direction to ensure each unique student reaches their potential and improves their school performance and/or develops a high standard porfolio.
Classwork is not normally prepared in advance, but some preparation/research (artist models etc) for individual students unique requirements may be required so that each student is supported as best possible.
Each weeks weekly session is two hours long. There is the potential to build other classes in the future.
Applications are sort urgently for a Term 1 start.
