Job description: 

City Gallery Wellington is currently looking for a Gallery Educator: Māori to develop and deliver programmes for our successful school education service.You'll be competent in teaching in both Te Reo Māori and English and have an excellent knowledge of tikanga and te ao Māori. You'll have good networks and be committed to expanding Gallery relationships within iwi Māori .

Your role at the Gallery will be focused around the needs of Māori students from immersion, bilingual and mainstream education and you’ll also deliver services for mainstream primary and secondary school students. You’ll write education resources, and be involved in administration, reporting, promotion and evaluation of education programmes.

This is a fixed term LEOTC contract until 30 June 2011.
