Art Store - Retail Position

TLC's material shop is a fun, busy, and key location within our school.
We are looking for a responsible and dedicated retail star, who works well as a member of a team as well as sole charge.  The role requires an excellent level of customer service, as well as an ability to multi-task, work to deadlines, and be initiative driven. 

We would also love to hear from people with experience in producing online stores and website design, as in the near future we hope to develop a web-based materials shop for our distance students.

Key skills and attributes:

• Customer service/Retail experience, incl. cash handling and Eftpos systems.
• Confident computer skills, inc use of Word and Excel.
• Stock management.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Sense of humour, and friendly manner.
• Honest and reliable.
• Knowledge and experience of art materials would be an advantage.
• Knowledge and experience in website design and developing an online store would also be an advantage.
• Some heavy lifting may be required.
• Full drivers license is beneficial.

This position consists of 35 hours per week, which includes 2 hours on a Saturday morning during term time to coincide with our weekend courses.
