Art Studio available in Wellington
Nautilus Creative Trust is an artist-run co-op in Wellington. We have 26 individual studios total in an old diesel mechanics warehouse and an old panel beaters, right on the beach in Owhiro Bay. There is a huge communal area with kitchen, lounge and toilet facilities, large project space, wi-fi, and music rehearsal space. Up and coming are a gallery in Island Bay and a sound-proofed recording studio.
We are currently accepting proposals for studio space as we have had 3 come up available. Rate is $35-$80 per week. This is a rare and exciting opportunity!
Our premises are very community oriented with a vast range of artists working there. We are looking for artists who are committed to their craft and interested in being a part of Nautilus as a supportive and friendly arts network.
The requirements are: 4 weeks advance rent (which will be used after 4 weeks notice is given prior to moving out), key deposit of $15 (refunded upon return of key), and a weekly direct bank payment set up for rent.
