Gallery Assistant
- Takes artwork off the walls for customers and takes them to the checkout area.
- Attends to enquiries from public and artists.
- Oversees the safety and security of artworks.
- In emergencies, will be required to assist the public.
- Lots of standing and handling of art involved.

- Replaces artworks as they get sold
Skills and Experience Required:
- Background in the arts and / or events.
- Excellent customer services skills - an open, pleasant and friendly manner is an absolute must.
- Good physical health - robust, strong and tireless.
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Ability to handle artwork with care
- Patience in quiet times
- A good curatorial eye (optional but handy)
- Experience with powertools (optional)
- Ability to work quickly and calmly under pressure
Background in visual arts and customer service.
