Job description:

The Old Gym is a very large house tenanted by young international long-term tenants.

We have a spare room to house an artist in exchange for them leaving us a painting. Residencies are one week in principle and can be extended. We do not have separate studio space and we can only take painters or artists producing art that can be put on a wall. Our house is not a luxury establishment but basic - though very cosy - backpacker style.

The Residency would suit young, emerging artists or anyone who is happy in basic accommodation and would like a holiday in Wanaka. We can only take bookings two weeks in advance of the artist actually arriving.
