To develop, coordinate and implement an annual contemporary art programme that aligns with ARTSPACE’s current Strategic Plan, through commissioning and presenting new work by both New Zealand and international artists, providing artists with a creative, critical and non-commercial environment in which to work, and offering wider support and advocacy for the arts community.
