Job description: 

Artstation invites applications from artist teachers to join our team of dedicated art tutors to teach children's classes. We are looking for inspiring, energetic artists who would like to develop fun and interesting children's art classes. Work to begin in the next school holidays and then ongoing teaching after school and for future holiday programmes.

Artstation employs children's tutors who are practicing artists and experts in their field. Classes are process and skill-based using a variety of media.

Children work in a safe studio environment, and are given individual support and feedback that recognises their unique skills, previous experience and differences. All classes have a maximum of 1:12 teacher/student ratio.

In an Artstation class the children learn through fun and experimentation.

    - Delivery of community services to maintain and develop community and recreation facilities and centres
    - Support and delivery of community and major events such as Pasifika Festival, Lantern Festival and Music in Parks
    - Facilitation of film productions in the region
