//Adam Art Gallery seeks Temporary Collection Officer
(part-time, 15-20 hours per week)

The Adam Art Gallery is seeking to appoint a temporary part-time Collection Officer whilst the incumbent is on parental leave. This is a fixed-term appointment for a period of six months from 1 July 2011 to 22 December 2011.

The Collection Officer is responsible for the documentation, care, safe storage, movement and presentation of the Victoria University of Wellington Art Collection and assists with the documentation of all incoming and outgoing works of art to and from the Gallery.

This is an ideal position for someone seeking to develop their skills in collection management, who has a relevant qualification or experience, who can contribute energetically to the work of a small and dedicated team.
