Tutor Drawing and Life Drawing
The purpose of the drawing programme is to develop observational, visual and media skills, to support the studio areas (painting, ceramics, jewellery and sculpture). This is a fine arts programme. It is a hands on class based in the life drawing room. There is an emphasis on life drawing.
The design tutor is responsible for tutoring two three hour classes as follows:
Certificate in Art and Craft (level 4) - drawing
Diploma in Art and Craft years 2, 3 & 4 (level 5-7) - drawing
We are also seeking tutor/s for art history and sculpture. These positions could be combined with the drawing tutor position.
Other duties include:
-Following procedures and policies of the school, including health and safety policies.
-Assessing & reporting on student achievement and other associated administrative tasks.
- Booking life drawing models
Qualification in fine art. Teaching experience and/or qualification is desirable. Life drawing experience.
