Depot Artspace Open Exhibition
Matariki Matchbox acknowledges and celebrates the Maori New Year using or incorporating matchboxes,
an object which challenges exhibition participants to represent the theme in innovative ways.
The arrival of the Seven Sisters constellation in early June invites us to celebrate the diversity of life, culture, language, spirit and people. Matariki also signals a time of change, a time of preparation and action, especially relevant for residents of Tamaki Makarau this year. All works are under $100.

Please complete the entry form and return accompained with artwork to the Depot Artspace, 28 Clarence Street, Devonport between Friday 4th and Wednesday 9th June (Except Sunday).
