Job description:

Artists are invited to submit concept proposals for the temporary Art Installation Project at The Arthouse. The work should be created specifically for the site at The Arthouse and interact with the building fabric.

The Arthouse is a 100 year old building with a fantastic interior that is light, open, with lots of height and is a large interesting space. The tenants are a mix of architects, artists, photographers, landscape architects and consultants. It is part of an Arts Cluster with nearby Art Galleries and is only a 3 minute walk to the heart of Nelson.

The first selected installation is to be installed by 27 November 2010 and will remain in situ for 5 months until 23 April 2011. The second selected installation is to be installed by 7 May 2011 and will remain in situ for 5 months until 1 October 2011.
