Raffles College of Design and Commerce is currently hiring a contract lecturer to teach Art Theory and Philosophy for our Diploma in Digital Photography (Level 6) students for early next year.

The lecturer must have knowledge of the following topics:

 

  • Assist to provide students with a creative and energetic working environment for the exploration, development and cross-fertilisation of ideas. Covering photography and related theories and philosophies.

 Responsibilities:

 

  • Ideally require the lecturer to provide a course reader for students, with key texts and case study models. Experience in curriculum development.
  • Develop session plans.
  • Initiate guest speaker requests.
  • Delivery and assessment of NZQA Unit Standard based course components.

 Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor Degree or Masters Degree, in Art History or Fine Arts with a strong focus on visual communication of contemporary art and design.
