Sculpture tutor – part time
The Hungry Creek Art and Craft School is seeking a senior tutor in the 3D area to tutor Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma Students, levels 4, 5, 6 & 7.
The successful applicant will have a B.A. or M.A. and tutoring experience.
The emphasis is on 3D visual language and teaching sculpture techniques and processes.
Classes:
Certificate in Art and Craft (Foundation) (level 4) one class per week, 6 hours per week semester one.
Diploma in Art and Craft & Advanced, year 2, 3 & 4 (level 5, 6 & 7) - 5 hours per week semester one and two
We are also seeking tutor/s for art history, drawing and design. These positions could be combined with the sculpture tutor position.
Other duties include:
-Following procedures and policies of the school, including health and safety policies.
-Assessing & reporting on student achievement and other associated administrative tasks.
Art Tutoring. Technical ability with sculpture processes. Knowledge of contemporary art. Ability to communicate and engage with students
