A unique professional development opportunity is now available at the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery.

Supported by Creative New Zealand, the Len Lye Intern will support the Gallery’s dedicated Len Lye Curator by fully cataloguing all materials in the Len Lye Collection related to Len Lye sculptures, drawings, archival materials, photographic images, audio and moving images.

The three-month Len Lye internship will be available in June 2010, and applications are welcome from aspiring art museum professionals with qualifications and experience in collection management, museums studies or library science.

A stipend of $500 per week is available with an accommodation allowance also provided.
