Web Designer in Marketing

art2trade4 is to help define a new form of Buying and Selling communication that will touching other people's lives in New Zealand. And overseas. We are small company and we all presently work from home. We are building a company to last. We are currently a small team of 2 and looking for a few key people who will help take us to the next level. In marketing, editorials, customer representation.

You will be responsible for the overall visual design of art2trade4. Working with the product and technical COO, your job will be to define the look and feel of an app using the feedback that we will get from people worldwide.

Responsibilities:
Design visually attractive and highly usable web interfaces
Build high-quality pages in HTML/CSS/JS for front end administrative team
Provide input/information on product direction through ideas and mockups

Requirements
Extensive experience developing complex web application interfaces
Very strong visual-design skills and experience;
Ability to adapt to different design styles and adhere to a brand guideline
Great interaction-design instincts; can execute user flows, wireframes, etc.
Demonstrated comprehension (portfolio) of design theory, web design, typography and color.
Good cross-browser CSS/HTML coding skills; basic JavaScript coding skills
Good understanding of end to end product management / development process
Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash is a plus)
Innate curiosity about design trends and tools; keep up with industry trends
Ability to multi-task, prioritize projects and communicate timelines
Great attention to detail; meets commitments, doesn't miss deadlines
Active art2trade4 user

Ability to code in latest dot net environment
Compatibility across all Browsers W
Wicked JavaScript coding skills
