Fixed Term - Full Time Position for 18 months

Auckland War Memorial Museum is seeking to appoint an experienced Exhibition Developer for a full time (40 hours per week), 18 month fixed term contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Capital Projects and Programming team. The role will report to the Content and Interpretation Manager and the success candidate will drive exhibition development for two major Museum projects.
The successful candidate with need leadership experience, demonstrated experience of storyline development, be familiar with design for multimedia environments and expertise in the development of detailed briefs for a range of media applications.
Key Responsibilities for this role are:
- Content and storyline development
- Audience advocacy
- Media and interactive briefing
- Business case and design development
A tertiary qualification in design, communication, social sciences or related experience is essential.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years experience in developing a variety of exhibition experiences within a complex environment.
