Art History and Design Tutor
The Hungry Creek Art and Craft School is seeking an art history and design tutor - 8 classes per week, currently spread over 3 days.
We are either seeking a tutor for art history and design or someone to tutor just art history.
The position involves delivering Art history (5 classes) to 1st, 2nd 3rd and 4th year students and one professional studies class to 3rd year students enrolled in the following qualifications.
Certificate in Art and Craft & |Certificate in Jewellery
Diploma in Art and Craft & Diploma in Jewellery
Diploma in Art and Craft (Advanced)
Design is offered to 1st and 2nd year students.
In the Design class is students learn to explore ideas, processes and the integration of research and practice in a series of hands on briefs.
Art history involves looking at art, culture and theory. Students develop their skills with regard to interpreting art works, art theory and learn to research and present essays on a variety of topics.
Other duties include:
-Following procedures and policies of the school, including health and safety policies.
-Assessing & reporting on student achievement and other associated administrative tasks.
