Senior Curator
You will be a key member of the Gallery’s Management team and will be able to think strategically and creatively about the challenges of mounting ambitious programmes on modest budgets. You will ensure that all exhibitions and publications are of an exemplary quality and make contemporary art, architecture and design accessible to a wide audience, and come in on budget.
You’ll develop and curate exhibitions and publications; manage and mentor the curatorial team, copy edit and proof read texts with a keen eye for accuracy, work closely with colleagues in Education, Public Programmes, and Marketing to co-ordinate support materials and programmes. You will deliver tours and lectures, and write with clarity and style about contemporary art, design and architecture. Local, national and international liaison with artists, museums, galleries, educational and community agencies will ensure you keep up with research activities and developments in contemporary art.
