Exhibitions Developer
Fixed Term - Full Time Position for 6 monthsFrom Monday, 28 June to December 2010. Auckland War Memorial Museum is seeking to appoint an experienced Exhibition Developer for a full time (40 hours per week), 6 month fixed term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Programming and Promotions team. The role will report to the Exhibitions Manager and the successful candidate will develop exhibitions for Auckland War Memorial Museum. The successful candidate will need leadership experience, demonstrated experience of content development, be familiar with design for multimedia environments and expertise in the development of detailed briefs for a range of media applications. Key Responsibilities for this role are:
- Content and storyline development
- Audience advocacy
- Media and interactive briefing
- Business case and concept development
A tertiary qualification in humanities, design, communication, or related experience is essential. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years experience in developing a variety of exhibition experiences within a complex environment.
