Te Papa's Discovery Centres and StoryPlace are interactive exhibition environments for children and their caregivers which focus on Māori Art and Culture, Pacific Island cultures, Art and History, and Natural Environment.  StoryPlace is designed especially for children aged 12 months to five years to explore the natural environment through storytelling, songs and make believe.

Your outstanding customer service skills will ensure that the needs of our visitors are met at all times. Your interest and experience in the learning/leisure needs of children, and your ability to impart information on at least two of the above Discovery Centre subject areas, will contribute to making the Discovery Centres exciting family attractions. Your experience with small children and enthusiasm for reading stories to preschoolers will help you to excel in StoryPlace.

This successful applicant will be required to work on an ‘as required’ basis, including weekends and public holidays.
