Parkside Media have an entry-level position available for a Journalist/ Editorial assistant working on our market-leading motoring, technology magazines and websites.
The role includes working on NZ’s biggest selling motoring title, NZ Performance Car, NZ’s biggest selling photography title D-photo and NZ’s biggest selling technology title, Tone.
This is an extremely busy and demanding role as the successful applicant will be working for two editors, with publications going to print every month. Additionally, all magazines operate a web site for which daily updates will be required. 
A full job description is available as requested by suitable candidates but will include general editorial admin & support, writing articles & news and attending functions/events as required.
This role involves these duties in print, social media and on our own websites.
The successful applicant will have a journalism degree and a real interest in the subject matter. The successful applicant will also be expected to apply themselves to this role 110% and be prepared to do whatever it takes to get the job done. If this sounds too scary – this job is not for you. Starting salary will be in the $35-40,000 range dependant on qualifications and experience, position available 18 January.
