Job description: 

ACP Media, New Zealand’s leading magazine publisher, is seeking a deputy editor for dynamic women’s lifestyle title CLEO magazine.

In this exciting role you’ll report to the CLEO editor, providing editorial support and being responsible for the magazine’s deadline running smoothly each month. You’ll be a confident and creative writer, have great interviewing skills, and be experienced in sub-editing and getting copy print-ready. You’ll have fresh and innovative story ideas, be well organised with lots of initiative, and have a commitment to editorial excellence.

Other tasks include actively managing key contributors, dealing with readers, and running the magazine when the editor is away.
 
Our ideal applicant would have a journalism qualification, some years of experience in writing and sub-editing on magazines, and experience working in Indesign.
