We are looking for a professional, experienced freelance writer who has made a successful transition from journalism to business writing or a writer who has real experience in business to business writing.

We particularly want someone who has a well developed instinct for writing what readers need to know and can write news and newsworthy commercial articles for clients in our industry publication.

You will be writing for ElectroLink Magazine. ElectroLink leads its industry and provides hard news along with professional communication services to major clients to help them promote their new services, technologies and products.

You do not need prior technical knowledge but you must be comfortable with technology and able to accurately write about it from supplied information and interviews in an interesting, effective way. Although we are in a technology industry, the magazine is about opportunities the technology provides, rather than the technology itself.

We provide a high level of industry knowledge and support to our writers, and readily identify key issues and angles to help you produce articles that always hit the mark. We also work alongside you and can assist through all stages of a story’s development.

You must also have a good understanding of New Zealand business culture and a positive, pro-business, professional attitude.

You will become a key member of a small successful team who delivers one of the most effective industry magazines in New Zealand. You will also be able to grow your skills in this business to business environment.

The role is a contract one suitable to an Auckland-based professional freelancer handy to Greenlane.
