Series Editor

Trends Publishing International is a multi-media company based in Ellerslie, Auckland. We specialise in producing high-quality publications, with a focus on architecture and interior design, for both the residential and commercial markets.

We are currently looking for an editor to help run our New Zealand and Australian series of publications. This role is roughly split up into one third research and public relations, and two thirds managing the production of the publications.

The research component involves making contact with new designers and architects, as well as maintaining relationships with existing clients. Securing first publishing rights for the very best locations is the number one objective, as well as reporting on current market trends. This involves approximately 4-6 weeks of domestic and international travel annually.

The majority of your time will be spent planning and overseeing all levels of all titles in the New Zealand and Australian market. Working alongside a team of staff writers, other editors and a sub editor, you will ensure deadlines are met, and that the finished product is of the highest standard, meeting the needs of our advertising clients and our readers.
