Pagemasters NZ is seeking a layout sub-editor to join its busy newspaper production centre based in Ellerslie, Auckland.

A flair for design and newspaper layout is essential. Recent sub-editing experience on a New Zealand newspaper is preferred, as is experience in Cyber Page editorial systems. The role would combine sport, business and general news layout and sub-editing.

This is a full-time position and includes shifts across a range of early morning, evening and weekend shifts on a weekly rostered basis. Pagemasters designs and edits pages for many of New Zealand's leading daily newspapers and weekly publications and is a seven-day, deadline driven environment. Applicants must be able to work under pressure, and across days and shifts as required.
