We are seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working and cheerful people person. The applicant will be self-motivated and have an eye for a good story.
The role covers a wide variety of topics, from council to health and education. A desire to cover both hard news and `human interest' stories is expected. Copy must be 100 per cent accurate, fair and balanced.
The successful candidate will have a recognised journalism qualification, above average typing and shorthand speed and be able to take an eye-catching photo.
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.
