TVNZ is looking for a dynamic publicist to join our fast paced team. This is an opportunity for someone to move into an exciting industry and work with New Zealand’s market leader.

You’ll be responsible for implementing the News and Current Affairs publicity plans and will ensure our programmes, presenters and talent have a high, positive media profile. You’ll be talking to media on a daily basis, writing programme profiles, press kits and media releases, and will be working with News producers, editors, and presenters.

As well as excellent writing, communication, organisational skills, you’ll need to have or be able to form relationships with media, producers and talent, and will have experience in running publicity schedules and pitching interviews. You’ll need to have worked for at least five years in television or entertainment publicity, public relations agency.
