Applications are invited for a fixed-term (2012-2014) position of Lecturer to teach into the School’s English programme, specialising in New Zealand and Victorian literature, but with the ability to teach across a range of undergraduate English papers. Some postgraduate supervision may also be required. Based at the Manawatu, Turitea campus, the appointee will undertake both internal and distance teaching, including online teaching and face-to-face contact courses as required. Current teaching materials will be made available to the appointee.

The successful applicant will have an appropriate postgraduate degree (preferably completed PhD), will be able to provide evidence on an ongoing programme of research, and will have experience in teaching at University level.

Availability to commence duties on 1 February 2012 would be desirable.
