Job description:

We are currently seeking a proofreader to work within our busy production department. Sadly our current proofreader is moving on after three years and we need someone to fill these big shoes!

This is an extremely deadline driven role and covers all of our international publications. With at least one magazine going to print per week, Fridays are always a busy day for our proofreader so you will need to be able to handle pressure well and be accurate and efficient.

You will also need to be technology savvy as our proofreader is also involved in XML tagging and converting files into PDF format ready for the printers.

You will need to be able to pick things up extremely quickly and be a great team player. Experience is desirable but not essential as full training is given. Whether you have years of experience within a commercial environment or if you are a recent graduate, why not give me a call to discuss the position?
