Web Editor

AgResearch is seeking a creative, energetic self-starter for our newly-created Web editor position. Our company is involved in R&D focused on the Pastoral Industry in New Zealand and Internationally. We are seeking a person with a vision for growing our Web site and the initiative and experience to get it done. Ideally you will have a degree in English or Journalism, some experience in an editorial web position and be detail-oriented and be willing to stay abreast of web-industry trends and social networking tools. Excellent research and writing skills are a must and the ability to interact with and communicate to a wide range of both research staff and customers is essential. The successful candidate will have the ability to recognize content with strong potential audience interest.

This is a 2 year fixed term contract that would suit a recent graduate who wants to make their mark in online journalism.
