The Taranaki Daily News is looking for a mid-to-senior-grade journalist ready to make a name for themselves as our Bureau Chief in our South Taranaki Office. 

This is a new position. We are looking for an inspired and experienced journalist who is capable of leading a small team to new heights. Your background will involve breaking solid news stories in print and on the web and you are interested in features. If successful, you will be responsible for boosting our coverage in a vital market, forging new contacts and developing relationships with local people and organisations. You will be energetic, talented and skilled with a camera. If you have lead teams before or have been involved in directing staff daily activities, we’d like to hear about it.
