Entertainement / Media / Music Industry / Production. Looking for a challenging and motivating job in Wellington

My name is Monica Moraes. I'm trying to meet people that have a great knowledge about the kiwi arts/media/entertainment scene. I live in Brazil, but I'm planning on moving and find a challenging and motivating job in New Zealand in June and it would be delightful be able to continuing working at entertainment industry. After 6 years at Sony Music Brasil, working as label manager of domestic and international artist (overseas marketing including) I'm now working in partnership with a company that develops strategies to launch new artists, concerts production, carried out marketing planning, promotional activities, management and budget control of artist's project, tour planning, negotiation of publicity contracts and use of image rights.

Since I've decided that I want to leave Brazil to live in another country to have new experiences (professional and personal as well), New Zealand ended up in first place for several reasons. After some research I fell in love with Wellington. The fact that the city is the arts capital of the country and its abundance of well known artists, either with local and international projection, made me excited and I've been learning as much as I could about the city and the cultural aspects of it.

Keep in mind that entertainment business is my professional passion. I would love to continue doing what love to do, which happily happens to be what I know to do the best.  I hope you could give me some tips or put me in contact with people that can help me find a job opportunity to keep doing that.
